Like all newly engaged couples, we were ecstatic to begin down the path of planning for our big day. We were off to a great start in planning when we wondered how our day would flow together the way we imagined it. That is when we contacted Laurie.
After our first meeting, it felt as if a huge weight had been lifted off our shoulders. Her warm, friendly personality made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. Planning a wedding can be extremely overwhelming especially when you have so many ideas
to bring into one very special day. Laurie was very organized and helped us plan the day to ensure we had nothing to worry about. She was extremely responsive via phone and email and we knew that we could go to her for any questions, no matter how
big or small they were. She helped put together a detailed itinerary for the day before and the day of the wedding. Our biggest concern for our wedding day was to make sure it was worry free for not only us, but our family and friends. We wanted to
ensure that the setup of our reception hall, the itinerary for the wedding day, and the take down for the evening, was something we didn't have to worry about. Laurie and her husband Dave did exactly that. Laurie and Dave arrived at the Church for
rehearsal the day before the wedding. Right away they were taking notes, asking questions, and helping with the flow of the ceremony. We both felt another weight lifted off of our shoulders knowing they had everything under control and organized.
On the day of the wedding, they both arrived at our reception hall. They put chair covers and sashes on, set up candles, table numbers, our guest book, table settings and greeted our florist. We had a certain way we pictured the hall to look with
all of our decorations and it went above and beyond what we expected. At the end of the night, Dave and Laurie helped clean up the hall and transported everything that was ours including our gifts, to our home. It is so hard to put into words the
feeling we had when we walked into our home the morning after our wedding. All the flowers were perfectly placed throughout our house and the presents lined our family room where gift opening would take place. There was even a framed picture from
our wedding day placed on our kitchen table from them. It was such a special feeling to walk into our home the day after we tied the knot. Ultimately, Laurie and Dave did an exceptional job helping us pull our day together! Everything flowed so smoothly
and we did not have to worry about a thing. They ensured that all of our wishes were played out exactly how we planned. They are wonderful people and work together as an excellent team. Everything and more was accomplished for our big day! It is very
unfortunate that wedding planning is over. We will miss working with both Dave and Laurie but have found a great friendship with the both of them.

Laurie was instrumental in the planning and execution of several major fundraising events for Taliesin Preservation, Inc. and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. Laurie graciously and effortlessly choreographed the planning efforts for the Taliesin
Centennial Opening Ceremony at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Laurie served as an extension of the staff throughout the event. She was able to foresee just about every potential pitfall, anticipate just about every hazard, re-direct just about every uncomfortable
moment that would or could have been encountered by the guests. Truly, Laurie helped coordinate the entire process from start to finish and because of her attention to detail the volunteers, presenters, guests, and crew appeared to move effortlessly
throughout the evening. It was a pleasure to have her involved in the planning of this event.
